From 0 to 100 in 2.5 Seconds
Megacoaster powered by GAZPROM
Experience the thrill of energy up close with one of Europe’s most spectacular rollercoasters!
Since April 2009, visitors have been flocking to the Iceland-themed area of Europa-Park for a chance to brave the catapult-launched blue fire Megacoaster – powered and sponsored by GAZPROM. The ride whisks adventurous souls suspended 38 metres above the ground past rugged rock formations and waterfalls in a fascinating landscape of fire and ice.

Following its hair-raising launch, the coaster passes through a short dark-ride section and accelerates up to 100 kilometres per hour in just 2.5 seconds. Then, get ready to experience over a thousand metres with four unique inverted elements, including daring 360-degree rolls – such as a twisted horseshoe and a heartline – that can reach g-forces of up to 3.8. And don’t forget the granddaddy of them all: a loop 32 metres above the ground, the highest you can find on any launched rollercoaster in all of Europe!
