International integrative art and discovery camp for children

 

 

Singing, dancing, making music together: 60 young artists from different parts of Russia and from different walks of life are to take part in Open World Germany 2011, a special camp at which they will learn about different traditions, gain new perspectives by looking at cultural diversity, and give themselves and their peers the freedom to be different, be creative, and experience creativity. Open World Germany 2011 will be held from 1 October to 10 October in Berlin, Kassel, and Leipzig, and will feature workshops, public performances, and leisure activities that will enable young artists to build bridges towards a better understanding of each other.

 

The first stop for Open World Germany 2011 is Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg district, where participants will hold a concert by kids, for kids, featuring a variety of musical, sports choreography, and dance performances. Young Russian sportswomen will be on hand to perform a colourful art gymnastics display, and a unique vocal programme, a children’s folklore ensemble, and fiery Caucasian dances together promise to enthral audiences.
