European School of Management and Technology

GAZPROM Germania – Benefactor to the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT)

The European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) was founded in October 2002 at the initiative of 25 leading German companies and associations. The founders’ goal was to establish an international management school with a European focus. EMST is a private university and offers an executive education programme, a full-time international MBA programme, and a part-time executive MBA programme. ESMT’s main campus is located in Berlin with another campus in Cologne.

GAZPROM decided to enter into long-term cooperation with ESMT in order to benefit directly from ESMT’s first-rate international expertise in the fields of management and technology. With this goal in mind, there are plans for an executive programme that is tailored to the needs of energy companies. This will optimize the training that GAZPROM group’s international executives receive.

ESMT’s 3rd Annual Forum was held 16-17 June 2010 and featured international leaders from business, science, and politics in exciting dialogue. The current significance of this year’s focus, “People, Planet, Profit: Creating a Sustainable Future”, attracted numerous noted speakers and guests interested in achieving sustainability through efficiency. GAZPROM was represented by guest speaker Sergey Komlev, head of contract structuring and price formation at Gazprom export.
