Step on the Gas Against Violence!

GAZPROM Germania is committed to preventing violence in football

Beyond our commitment as lead sponsor of FC Schalke 04, we feel a close connection with the sport of football. We want to show that football is about fairness, positive emotions, and treating partners with respect and that violence does not belong in football stadiums.

And that was our motivation when setting up the “Step on the Gas Against Violence” initiative in summer 2007. This initiative supports projects against violence in football at both amateur and professional levels. As part of this long-term initiative, GAZPROM Germania and FC Schalke 04 have organised charity matches against SG Dynamo Dresden, 1^st FC Magdeburg and Alemannia Aachen football clubs and the “Films Against Violence” video competition.
