HAROW Study

GAZPROM Germania GmbH supports the HAROW study with a total amount of EUR 5 million

We also support a number of projects from the area of medicine. We have supported the HAROW study in the area of cancer research since 2007. This study was initiated and carried out by Stiftung Männergesundheit, a men’s health foundation, to treat localized prostate cancer. Our support of the study helped ensure its independence from the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries. Moreover, our involvement also enabled the involvement of Russian urologists, allowing data to be collected for international comparison.

 “The HAROW study is the first scientific medical research project that our company has supported. It also reflects our desire to support people who are deeply committed to making life more pleasant for their fellow human beings. Cooperation between German and Russian urologists is also of essential significance to this project”, says Hans-Joachim Gornig, Managing Director of GAZPROM Germania GmbH.
