Brücke Art Exhibition in Moscow

GAZPROM Germania supported the Berlin Brücke Museum with the first ever exhibition of German Brücke artists in Moscow.

The exhibition, with 130 paintings and water colours by German Brücke artists, was held at the National Pushkin Museum in Moscow from 6 September to 2 November 2008. A selected choice of masterpieces by the artists Kirchner, Schmidt-Rottluff, Nolde, Bleyl, Müller and Heckel made the first ever exhibition of German Expressionists in Russia a great success.

“GAZPROM Germania decided to support this German Russian project as a way of contributing to presenting German art and culture to very art-aware Russian audience”, said Christian Schwind of Corporate Communications Department.
