GAZPROM OJSC

GAZPROM OJSC is one of Russia’s most important companies and, simultaneously, the world’s largest natural gas producer. In 2010, the company produced 508,6 Gm³ of natural gas, which is equivalent to more than 15 percent of the world’s production. It exported approximately 148,1 Gm³ thereof to Central and Western Europe.

The GAZPROM brand stands for almost 40 years of German-Russian energy partnership and supply security in Germany. Today, the Group provides a reliable supply of natural gas to approximately 20 countries in Central and Western Europe.

The company’s core business comprises exploration, production, processing, transportation, and trading of natural gas, liquefied natural gas, and gas condensate. It supplies natural gas to both domestic and foreign customers.
