An Adventure into the World of Energy

In April 2009, Russian energy company GAZPROM partnered up with Europa-Park, Germany’s largest amusement park, located in Rust, near Freiburg, Germany, as sponsor to the „blue fire Megacoaster powered by GAZPROM“, a catapult rollercoaster with the highest loops in Europe, which opened in early 2009. Then, in March 2010, we opened the doors to the GAZPROM “Experience Energy” attraction.

This one-of-a-kind information and events pavilion not only offers a waiting area for visitors wanting to ride the „blue fire Megacoaster powered by GAZPROM“, but also features a multimedia experience providing fascinating insight into the world of energy that engages adults and children alike. Visitors learn how natural gas is produced, transported, and used in an experience that appeals to all their senses.

 

With interactive elements and a host of information on GAZPROM as a company and the subject of energy, the new GAZPROM attraction offers an exciting alternative to the high speeds of the „blue fire Megacoaster powered by GAZPROM“ catapult rollercoaster.
